Dislike black at bottom, prefer metallic shade.

I do not like the black at the bottom. It would be more attractive as one metallic shade. I didn't think I would notice it but I cringe at it. I won't send it back because I am obsessed with the marble top. THAT is gorgeous and its real marble. But otherwise, the bottom should have been one solid color.
Heavy marble, good quality, dislike lifting.

Waaaay tooo heavy. I could barely lift the thing myself. Guess that means its good quality marble, but I do not like heavy lifting no matter what its for.
Black marble is rare and looks better in person.

The black marble looks a lot better in real life than in the photos. I was happily surprised. I also decided black marble is RARE because this is the first time I've come across it in furniture other than kitchen counters and mostly fixtures. It's gorgeous and definitely worth getting!

Real marble, it looks more expensive than it costs. The base is nice. The black thing in the center isn't too noticeable, although I wasn't happy about it when I first saw it.
