I was surprised to find out that bent plywood is a staple of mid-century modern design after a friend of mine who loves that style mentioned it after seeing this coffee table. I had my doubts of how good a table in this type of style, sort of bordering modern and rustic would look in my very contemporary setting, my living room has a lot of furniture that is sleek with rigid lines and mostly polished steel frames and bases but adding a wooden table actually created a design with a more dynamic contrast, i'm very happy with my choice!

We needed a casual mid-century modern coffee table for our tv room - which means one that would also end up with feet being rested against the edge - and this fit the bill perfectly! It arrived well packed, and assembly consisted of attaching the legs - easy, quick, and no cursing involved! There is a lip around the outer edge of the table, which you can see in the picture, so make sure your friends set their drinks down inward rather than half on and half off the ledge. At first, we weren't sure how we felt about the raised edge, but we got used to it and it isn't an issue at all. Great price for a sturdy well designed table that can also handle propped up feet.

How big is this table? I'm looking for something that is not very big to fit in the middle of my record room with one of your matching chairs to go with it

The table diameter is 34.25". The height is 15.75".We recommend pairing this table with the Plywood Lounge Chairs, Hans Wegner Shell Chair, and Grant Featherston Contour Lounge Chair. Many of our Origins by Inmod collection chairs will pair nicely with this table!
