Aubrey Barstool

For the price this stool is exactly what we wanted for our counter pass through. We purchased 2. The ordering and shipping when well and as expected. Arrived on the day it was expected. The chairs were very easy to assemble.They were packed well and we found no damage or issues. Instructions were very easy to follow. The stools are comfortable to sit on for short periods of time, not designed for long or relaxing perching as they are somewhat narrow and streamlined with some padding but not significant enough for long use comfort for adults anyway-children will find them perfect. They swivel easily and the height adjusts simply by moving the side leaver. The ring that sits between the base and adjustable pole is plastic. This was disappointing in that is looks cheap. Remainder of stool seems well made, again for the price. The base has a nice rubber ring on the bottom to prevent scratching and marking up of the floor. This was a nice feature. The weight of the stool on the website says 32 pounds. This is significantly off. It came in at approximately 19 pounds so while I was expecting substantial weight with no fear of tipping, I did not get that. I may have selected a different stool I liked at 20 pounds if I had known the 32 pound number was off so much.
