LAX Series Platform Bed

To all the folks that have seen reviews about this bed being difficult to put together, I would like to first point out that it is very straightforward, and quite simple to put together, with very few ways you can actually make mistakes. If you've ever put anything together, you shouldn't have a hard time with this. Love the look of it, and the storage is great. Nearly everything about the aesthetics and function are great. I do have two main problems with this bed that made me dock a star First and foremost, the drawers simply sit on the floor with very cheaply made wheels. There is no railing system or anything attaching the drawers to the bed itself that prevents the drawers from banging into each other or staying in place. Therefore, if you want a clean, evenly spaced look you have to make sure you do it yourself every time you open/close a drawer. I feel that for the cost of this bed a little more effort could have been put into this area to make it really nice, but they didn't. Second, and this is a minor one for me personally, I didn't realize that the cross beams that lie directly under the bed were made of fiberboard or MDF, with a hard wood laminate on the exterior to give the impression of hard wood. I don't recall seeing anything about this on other sites, but from inmod it is stated the bed is "expertly crafted with high quality solid English walnut". You'll note that there is no other mention of fiberboard/mdf anywhere on the page. I guess they get around saying that it isn't entirely made of wood by saying it is made "with" walnut, and not "of" walnut. Keep in mind you don't see this when your bed is in place, but it does stand out as being different from the rest of the bed when you look at it. I feel it should be listed in the materials of the product description for clarity and transparency. I can even see why they would do it as maybe planks that size would be more prone to warping, so maybe it will do better in long term durability. I don't know, but I feel it is misleading.
