They are cushioned remarkably well with a feeling of both softness and firmness. I have an affinity for the style as they remind me of chairs I'd find in an era from long ago, which makes my home look particularly vintage without the shabbiness of buying from antique stores. They are better quality than many of the other chairs I've seen in friends and relatives houses who bought new from stores as well.
Color is amazing, never going back to neutral.
