When shopping for a Ball Chair we suggest your pay careful attention to the certain details:

Base:
Many lower quality ball chairs have a production base with a longer stem. This gives the chair an awkward look. Companies that offer these chairs select the angle of the photography very carefully to disguise this inaccurate feature.

Shell:
The Shell should be made from fiberglass. Many lower quality ball chairs are made from PVC or ABS plastic. These are softer plastics and will not hold their form as fiberglass will.

Finish:
Some chairs on the market are painted. Painted finishes will chip and scratch easily. Accurate ball chairs are gel-coated. This is a finish used on fiberglass. Our gel coating is about .25" thick and has pigment throughout the entire thickness.
