Bastille Cafe Stacking Chair (Antique Copper)
Iconic Parisian Industrial Design
One of the most recognizable metal cafe chairs ever designed originated in France in 1934, and quickly became a favorite among Parisian bistros, offices, clinics (and even on board the Normandie). Xavier Pauchard tapped into something when he conceived the Marais A / Tolix Chair in the early 20th century. So much so, in fact, that over 80 years after its debut in France, it is has grown in popularity to become a world-wide staple of industrial seating. The Bastille Cafe Stacking Chair (Antique Copper) is an accurate replica, produced using the same production processes & built to virtually the same specifications as the original. The antique copper adds bold character that strikes a stylish balance between industrial and rustic vintage.
