This Chandelier is inspired by the popular 1950's sputnik lamp design. With its unique space-age design and a price that's out of this world, it's a wonderful addition to any retro or mod environment. This Sputnik Lamp is plated in brass and has 18 arms. This Sputnik measures out to 24" across without bulbs. Please note light bulbs not included. Hangs 19" at lowest point. The 24" 18 Arm Mid-Round Sputnik Lamp features 18 arms that protrude from the center ball, creating an overall look that is "ovular" (or "mid-round").

Does the "drop rod" install option have a pivot at the top to be used with a cathedral ceiling? Thanks.

The drop rod on the 24" 18 Arm Mid-Round Sputnik Lamp does not pivot, however we recommend installing the loop & chain version of this lamp in homes with cathedral or slanted ceilings.

HI, can this lamp be used outdoors? Specifically I would be hanging it in my front entry which is covered. It would be a couple of feet back from the edge of the entry ceiling.

The 24" 18 Arm Mid-Round Sputnik Lamp would work best in an indoor setting. If exposed to excessive moisture the metal could rust. Use outdoors would void the fixture's limited one-year warranty.
