Reclaimed Studebaker Factory Model 3 Coffee Table
Low environmental impact with high praise from spectators, the Studebaker Model 3 Coffee Table is a limited edition and one-of-a-kind furnishing you can be proud to display in your modern home. Built from sturdy long leaf pine wood and reclaimed from the historic Studebaker automobile factory, this piece tells a story from industrialized North America in the late 19th century. The Studebaker factory was founded in 1852 and made wagons for farmers, miners and the military. In 1902, the Studebaker factory established itself as one of the lead electric and gasoline vehicle manufacturers in North America. Each table has its own unique color, aging and distressing with the original gashes, chips and sanded down nails in the designs. The hand crafted table tops are 2.5 inches thick and maintain their pristine condition with a water-based lacquer finish in your color choice of light grey, amber or golden. The strong base is made from heavy, hand-polished steel. Every table includes a letter with a brief history of the Studebaker Factory and a vinyl label on the table’s underside marked "Studebaker Factory, An American Icon Reclaimed." Custom-built in Canada with only enough Studebaker reclaimed lumber for about 2,000 tables, the Studebaker Model 3 Coffee Table is sure to be excellent conversation starter in any setting and it is available exclusively at Inmod.
