Together, the pedestal base and gently curved seat of the Tulip Style Armchair form one of the most memorable modern designs of the 20th century. This version’s strong steel base supports a swiveling, molded plastic seat and a thick, red leatherette cushion for added comfort. This chair is at home around a dining table, paired with the Saarinen Tulip Style Side Chair, or used as casual seating in a lounge area.
